Balmiki Bhattacharya brings two decades of experience overseeing planning and design of retail, mixed-use and hospitality projects. His multi-faceted career allows him to create holistic solutions that consistently produce a strong return on investment for clients. After earning his graduate degree, Balmiki joined an international architecture firm where he managed store design and construction for Fortune 500 retailers including Nike, Nordstrom and Gap. Several years later, he transitioned to the client-side and managed part of Starbucks’ global design and architecture group.
His most recent role before joining MG2 was leading planning and design for multiple regional shopping centers for The Taubman Company, a prominent REIT. Balmiki’s strong business acumen and creative problem-solving skills, paired with a solid understanding of leasing and operational challenges, makes him a valuable resource for clients in a competitive marketplace.
