Putting the Finishing Touches on a Gingerbread Seattle

November 21, 2017

MG2's gingerbread village display – on view at U.S. Bank Centre through January 1, 2018 – is highlighted by The
Seattle Times.

For this, the 25th anniversary of the Sheraton Gingerbread Village display, Seattle architects, builders and Sheraton Hotel pastry chefs have created “Twenty-Five Years of Cheer: A Celebration of Seattle.” The exhibit, made from all edible components, features three historic interpretations of downtown Seattle and three futuristic visions of different parts of the city.

The popular tradition benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This year, rather than the Sheraton lobby, the Gingerbread Village will be across the street in the City Centre building at 1420 Fifth Ave.
