Architecture Office Coordinator (Part-time)

MG2 is seeking a part-time Office Coordinator to join our Irvine office!

The Office Coordinator provides direct support to the managing principal in the Irvine studio. This will include managing all aspects of front desk services, processing Plotting and Stamping requests, organizing office events, and helping out with general administrative tasks. 

This is a part-time role. You will be expected to be in the office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for 4 hours each day, totaling 12 hours a week. It will be up to you to decide what time you come in, as long as it is between the hours of 8am-5pm. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist supervisor with MG2 event requests, setup and clean up and one-off requests.
  • Assist with accepting deliveries, directing express service vendors and back-up for processing outgoing shipping.
  • Place work order requests within property management portal
  • Maintain company mileage car log, arrange vehicle maintenance, and schedule car wash with property management services
  • Contact vendor for equipment service/maintenance for plotter and copier
  • Archiving – hard copy preparation and electronic archiving.
  • Assist employees with reserving resources, respond to questions and provide direction.
  • Assist Manager with workstation/computer moves or other organizational tasks.
  • Order office supplies, manage cost, order special request items upon approval.
  • Organize/upkeep office supply storage bins.
  • Arranges catering, including food pick-up using a company vehicle 
  •  0-1 year of receptionist experience,  customer service, or administrative support.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency in Word and  Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication  skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A team player.

Pay: $21-$24/hour

If position is eligible for remote status, ranges may be adjusted. Acknowledging the time employees typically spend in the role, compensation is dependent on applicable years of experience and skillset.
