IT & Facilities Support Specialist

MG2 is looking for a talented IT & Facilities Support Specialist to join our New York, NY office. 


IT Support

  • Assists in the deployment, monitoring and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers
  • Ensures prompt escalation of help desk tickets
  • Provides weekly report of open tickets and statuses
  • Assists in the deployment, monitoring and maintenance of desktops and laptops
  • Updates and maintains our technology asset management system
  • Provides personal management or escalation of VIP tickets
  • Proactively provides information and regular communication to the users on the progress of outstanding tickets
  • Escalates more complex issues to a more experience team member
  • Provides end user feedback, suggestions and enhancement requests to the IT Manager or Director
  • Reviews, addresses, and completes trouble tickets in a timely manner
  • Addresses trouble tickets with high accuracy and documentation
  • Provides tier 1 support for the entire company
  • Ensures all company IT assets are kept in working and presentable conditions
  • Sets-up new users and orders equipment in a timely fashion
  • Properly closes out and disables exiting employee’s accounts
  • Conducts monthly audits of user accounts
  • Ensures that necessary equipment is always on hand and ready to go

Administrative Support

  • Coordinating any work with building management
  • Maintains kitchen stock and office supplies as needed
  • Maintains office and IT equipment
  • Maintains a clean office and kitchen
  • Coordinates and set-ups for client meetings
  • Coordinates any office special events in or out of office
  • Prepares for visiting employee office visits
  • Greets guests in a professional and welcoming way
  • Answers incoming calls in a professional and welcoming manner
  • In-person facilities support
  • Maintain building access control
  • In-house printing and binding of proposals
  • Assist in travel coordination
  • Arranges catering for office events
  • Assists in faxes, copies and scans
  • Processes courier pickups both incoming and outgoing
  • Processes mail incoming and outgoing

  • Two or four year degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • At lease one year of customer service experience
