MixC Nantong

In the city of Nantong, prominent developer China Resources Land sought to create a world-class center for shopping, dining, entertainment, and business. As a longtime partner to China Resources Land, MG2 designed the MixC development to optimize the uniquely long, narrow site while creating a dynamic mix of indoor and outdoor spaces and two high-rise towers.

Inspired by Nantong’s natural beauty, the development’s overall design visually represents water flowing to the sea. MG2 also drew inspiration from a nearby river known as the “Emerald Necklace of Nantong” to create sculptural way-finding solutions referencing river rock and jewel analogies.

The expansive MixC Nantong will not only be a retail and entertainment destination but also an impactful economic driver, bringing together international luxury and local retailers as well as businesses looking for premier office space.
