Seattle region’s 2nd-largest architecture firm acquired

Seattle-based architecture and design firm MG2 announced Tuesday it has been acquired by Colliers Engineering & Design, the New Jersey-based division of the global commercial real estate and investment management firm Colliers International Group, whose U.S. headquarters also are in Seattle.
Colliers said in a news release the new partnership “significantly expands Colliers Engineering & Design’s footprint in the Northwest,” and that MG2’s senior leadership team will become “significant shareholders in the combined business and play a key role in its leadership going forward.”
