Role Introduction

You will be working in our Consumer Experiences (CX) Market, where you will have the opportunity to design and deliver on various types of fast-moving retail and Food & Beverage projects that anticipate the needs and lifestyle shifts of evolving users.

As a leader in our Consumer Experiences Market, the Senior Project Designer will lead teams and clients in a variety of project types. In this role, the Senior Project Designer will work in multi-disciplinary teams, leading and soliciting contributions from all levels of expertise. The Senior Project Designer should inspire design thinking and technical excellence, serving as a role model and leader for other team members. Project types may include retail, food & beverage, and entertainment projects.

What your day will look like:

Leads clients and team through the entire or partial process of Concept, Schematic, and Design Development
Develops project design intent and goals for successful implementation
Leads design presentations to clients and government authorities, including connecting retail principals to consumer behaviors and business objectives
Works closely with Market Principals and Firm Leaders
Serves as a mentor to junior designers and contribute to their growth and development
Supports marketing and business development activities
Candidate should be available for domestic and international travel, as needed

We’re looking for someone who:

Bachelors/Masters in Architecture

10+ years of retail design experience with shell and core design experience required
Experienced with retail, FB&E trends, research and industry

Ability to translate concept through technical application in partnership with architectural teams

National Salary Ranges:

Senior Project Designer: $100,000 – $153,000

Please note that this role is a salaried and exempt position, and therefore, is not eligible for overtime pay.

If position is eligible for remote status, ranges may be adjusted. Acknowledging the time employees typically spend in the role, compensation is dependent on applicable years of experience and skillset, and level of project revenue impacted.
