At this year's CenterBuild conference, MG2 Associate Scott Owen was honored by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) as one of the top emerging leaders in the architecture and design industry.
The annual international conference held each December is dedicated to the issues of planning, development, design and construction of shopping centers and retail stores.
Owen is an integral member of MG2’s Retail studio and was nominated for the award by both his fellow associates and the firm’s principals. Over his past four years at MG2, Owen has been instrumental in leading the coordination of national large-scale projects such as City Target in Boston, an extremely complex project for Target that incorporated a multi-story store in a retail podium of a high-rise residential tower near the city’s historic Fenway Park. In addition to his project leadership, Owen also possesses a strong technical expertise in BIM applications with a specialty of Revit. He currently serves as the Revit model manager and Revit lead for MG2’s retail practice.
