RUNNING THE MARATHON

How do we support communities who are marginalized as genuinely and selflessly as we can? How do we use our privilege to help those born without to amplify their voice and their message? These are the questions we continue to ask ourselves to address our reality head-on, without reservation, and in the most openly and candidly way possible.

It is an uncomfortable conversation, but we will not be silent. Justice will not be served until those born with privilege are just as outraged as those who are not.

At MG2, there is no endpoint in our journey towards equity, diversity, and inclusion. We are in a marathon; one we are committed to running together, enduring the wins we’ll surely achieve, and the pitfalls we’ll have to face and overcome together. Today, and every day, we stand in solidarity for unity, equality, and acceptance.

EQUITY DEFINED

Equity to MG2 means everyone should be able to reach their full potential in our profession and the world inclusive of their race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.

Our mission is to advocate for an equitable world by addressing unconscious bias, fostering inclusiveness, and advocating for social justice and equity through the lens of individual growth and the power of design.

LGBTQ+ / PRIDE: We believe there is more work to be done for humanity. At MG2, we listen actively, speak out, and reshape unjust narratives to ensure that everyone can rise, love, and live and breathe without fear.

Our desire for change starts by creating open dialogue to safely invite, participate, and foster discussions that allow all voices to be heard.

Speaking out for what we believe in is an essential part of fueling our extended community. In this time of uncertainty, we support organizations that passionately make a difference. We also participate in our democracy to influence our future leaders, policies, and ethos.

Directing philanthropic efforts towards people of color affected by this time of uncertainty is imperative to building healthy communities. MG2 fosters resources, scholarships, professional opportunities, and partnerships with an eye towards equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout our practice.

MG2 also proudly matches our employee’s donations to a handful of groundbreaking organizations carefully vetted by the Black members of our Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity BLM Coalition.
