Costco Opens First Washington Location Since 2008 Amid Major Worldwide Expansion

MG2 client Costco Wholesale's new Lynnwood, WA location is the first new warehouse in Washington state since 2008.

Costco Wholesale Corporation has opened a new location in Lynnwood, near the Alderwood Mall.

This comes as part of a push to open 32 stores worldwide during its current fiscal year, which began Sept. 1.

The Lynnwood location, which opened Oct. 1, will be the first of the new stores to open in the new fiscal year. It also marks the first new Costco store in Washington state since 2008, when Costco opened a store in Covington, east of Kent.
