Skamania Lodge to Launch MG2-Designed Treehouses

June 23, 2016

Skamania Lodge, a Destination Hotel, is slated to open later this summer on its Columbia Gorge resort property two customized tree houses designed by MG2.

The secluded treehouses will be accessible via attached staircases. Overlooking the Columbia River and the forest surrounding the lodge, the spaces can sleep up to four guests. Each is equipped with an outdoor deck, an indoor-outdoor fireplace, single bathroom, one king size bed and a private outdoor-viewing shower. The structures will be elevated up to 20 feet and designed with large windows and openings.

The treehouses will be located near the entrance to the 175-acre Skamania Lodge property.

Located 45 miles east of Portland, Ore., in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, Skamania Lodge is a 175-acre mountain resort and conference center. The property is also home to 45 recreational options, including Waterleaf Spa, with an indoor swimming pool, hot tubs and a fitness center, an 18-hole golf course, and the Cascade Dining Room and River Rock restaurants.
