Luxury tree houses offer guests a majestic retreat amid the ambiance of the Columbia River Gorge.
Skamania Lodge has established itself as a destination for family vacations, weekend getaways, corporate conferences and weddings. Looking to expand their current offerings, the resort partnered with MG2 to develop a “tree house-style” cabin concept for those in search of a unique escape.
Nestled amongst a grove of towering Douglas firs, a cluster of four tree houses immerse guests in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, fulfilling their desires to feel inspired, romantic or adventurous. All of the tree houses are designed with a large wrap-around deck, expansive windows, an indoor/outdoor fireplace and are easily accessed via an attached staircase. Two of the four feature a nook space with an additional bed and large windows offering peekaboo views of the Columbia River Gorge.
The structures stand on stilts, picturesquely set 15 to 30 feet above the lush forest floor. Simple, yet contemporary in their aesthetic, the tree houses offer guests modern luxuries not commonly associated with the traditional cabin experience.
