By introducing a fresh interior palette and reconfigured and expanded spaces, Fashion Place became the retail heart of a community.
When General Growth Properties hired MG2 to revitalize the enclosed shopping mall built in 1972, the design team set out to transform Fashion Place into a community destination.
Working within an efficient budget, MG2 created a fresh interior design that reflects the region’s natural beauty. Indigenous wood and stone materials combine with modern glass and metal elements to create a warm, sophisticated environment infused with daylight.
The addition of a new exterior retail component, along with an expanded food court and clearer signage and wayfinding, produces an atmosphere where patrons want to linger and explore.
