The Medora Apartments received praise from Seattle’s Northeast Design Review Board for its emphasis on pedestrian accessibility and sensitivity to the surrounding residential community. The architecture team adopted design cues from the nearby high school and numerous other brick buildings in the area in an effort to maintain a seamless street-scape. The combination of ground level retail and four two-story street facing townhomes integrates the Medora into the fabric of the neighborhood.
